Effectiveness of Chemistry Textbooks with Problem Based Learning to Improve Students’ Learning Outcomes in Main Group Elements

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of main group elemental chemistry textbooks based on problem learning in improving student outcomes. The design this was a quasi-experiment with one pretest-posttest design. participants were sixth year education students at Universitas Sriwijaya for 2021/2022 academic year. Test instruments implied research and analyzed using statistics N-gain data. results showed that problem-based teaching materials categorized as very effective high level Keywords: textbooks, learning, Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan buku teks kimia unsur golongan utama berbasis dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.
